2024 Programme

Our evening meetings are held at Greenhill Methodist Church hall, School Lane, Sheffield S8 7RL (Church | Greenhill Methodist Church | England) - see photo below, taken as we set up for the first in person meeting in February 2022. The large hall at the church has been refurbished and modernised and is a very suitable venue. There is car parking for about 18 cars in the car park at the back of the church and on-street parking on School Lane and surrounding quiet roads.

Visitors welcome to our talks: £3 per visitor.

2024/25 Talks Details
Weds 6th November 2024 7.00pm AGM at 7pm, followed by a talk by Trish Kohn 'Where do they come from? A look at some plant origins'. N.B. This meeting is in the smaller hall at the back of the church.
Weds 4th December 2024 7.30pm Talk by Geoff Hodge 'The Life and Times of a Gardening Editor'.
Weds 8th January 2025 7.30pm Talk by Don Witton 'Flower Power Plus Plus Plus!'. A feast of floral delights to brighten up a winter's evening.
