2026-27 Programme of Evening Meetings
Our evening meetings are held at Greenhill Methodist Church hall, School Lane, Sheffield S8 7RL (Church | Greenhill Methodist Church | England) The large hall at the church has been refurbished and modernised and is a very suitable venue. There is car parking for about 18 cars in the car park at the back of the church and on-street parking on School Lane and surrounding quiet roads.
N.B. January 2027 will be a Zoom talk, rather than an in-person meeting. February and March 2027 talks will be in the small hall at the rear of the church. All other talks will be in the main hall.
Visitors welcome to our talks: £4 per visitor

| Wednesday 2nd December 7.30pm | Talk by Razvan Chisu "Designing a winter garden: snowdrops, snowflakes and other early flowers." |
| Wednesday 13th January 2027, 7.30pm | Zoom talk by Steve Bustin "Trowel and Error” – developing a city garden from scratch. Steve is HPS Chairman living in Brighton. He and his husband open their garden for National Gardens Scheme. |
| Wednesday 3rd February 2027, 7.30pm | Talk by SPG member Jayne Conquest "Composting". This talk will be in the hall at the back of the church. |
| Wednesday 3rd March 2027, 7.30pm | Talk by Ashley Franklin "Flower and Garden Photography". This talk will be in the hall at the back of the church. |
| Wednesday 7th April 2027, 7.30pm | Talk by Nigel Hopes of Hopes Garden Plants "A year in John's Garden". Nigel is head gardener at John Massey's Garden at Ashwood Nurseries. |
