We have two plant sales per year in May and September, at Sheffield Botanical Gardens, in the glasshouse and classroom area, where a large variety of hardy perennial plants are on sale, all grown by South Pennine Group members. We also sell vegetable plants and annuals at the Spring sale. 

2025 Spring Plant Sale: Saturday 17th May and Sunday 18th May from 11am both days. Closing times to be advised. Free admission. As always there will be a wide and interesting selection of plants including many hardy perennials, half-hardy perennials, some tender plants, house plants, shrubs, herb and vegetable plants, all at very reasonable prices and reflecting a different range of plants to our September sale.  Our expert members will be on hand to give you help and advice.

2025 Autumn Plant Sale: Sunday 21st September 11am-3pm. Free admission. As always there will be a wide and interesting selection of plants including many hardy perennials, half-hardy perennials, some tender plants, house plants, shrubs and grasses, all at very reasonable prices and reflecting a different range of plants from our May Sale.  Our expert members will be back on hand to give you help and advice.

We are now able to take both debit and credit cards, as well as cash, and would kindly ask if you would bring your own bags where possible.
